Another nice day lounging around the resort (that *never* gets old!)…
Since this family trip was to celebrate Kathy’s parents’ 50th anniversary, we all had chipped in and bought them a very fancy private dinner on the beach at the posh Princeville Hotel. They were very surprised by the gift and had a great time… they took a few pictures with their camera:
The next day has Kathy, Melanie, and LeAnn going off to have a fantastic horseback riding day into the Kaua’i mountains…

They get to wrap up the ride with lunch and swimming at a beautiful waterfall:
During the day, Andrew, Paul, and I go to see the “Spouting Horn”… this is really cool, as sea water rushes under a lava shelf and bursts through a small opening at the surface. Every wave produces another spray.
The Spouting Horn frequently spurts salt water 50 feet into the air. This particular blowhole is different from others found throughout the state as another hole nearby only blows air, making a loud groaning sound.
Back at the resort, since we’re all now wearing the exact same thing, we decide to take some family pictures [smiley0]

… and we wrap up the day with a *really* nice dinner together at a fancy restaraunt. We have a few more surprises for Paul and Geri to celebrate their 50th Anniversary, including a Swarovski Humuhumukununukuapua’a (the “official fish” of Hawai’i) and some other fun things:

It’s hard to believe that we’re *almost done* with our Hawai’ian adventures… just one more full day left!
