Catching up

So it seems like ages since I posted anything of substance … and that’s accurate. Damn.

Sorry about that.

So, what’s been happening since the last time I posted anything of substance.

Well… both kids got married, Kathy started a new job, and I started my own company. That’s a pretty good start right there.

andrew-liz-weddingAndrew and Liz were married in December of 2013. It was a beautiful ceremony with lots of friends and family in attendance. All of their wedding photos are in our gallery, if you’d like to see them!

Since the wedding, they’ve purchased a new home and are both successful in the new careers, Andrew as a high school Band Director and Liz as a Speech Pathologist.

melanie-jarrett-weddingMelanie and Jarrett were married in October of 2014. They were married in the Hill Country in a venue that was perfect for their personalities. You can see all of their wedding photos here.

Melanie has started her nursing career, and Jarrett is a successful professional truck driver.

Kathy has transitioned into a job that she really is enjoying now as a Nurse Navigator at the new Seton Breast Care Center. She’s really helping women through difficult times in their lives – and I’m very proud of her.

Balettie-Consulting-Star-Logo-100x100I’m thrilled to have started my own company, Balettie Consulting, Inc. I’ve learned a lot about the legal and financial aspects of running my own business, and am just now on the cusp of it really taking off … so stay tuned. 🙂

I promise to be a bit more timely with the blog posts – I figure, since I updated the website, I ought to update the blog more, right?
